Africa Biosciences Challenge Fund Research Fellowships Scholarship Contests


Scholarship Contests are awarded through the placement of African Biosciences Challenge Fund short-term support for scientists and students from area Beca to access world-class facilities and expertise in the Beca ILRI Hub, located in Nairobi, Kenya.

Financial Support:

Scholarship Contests With financial support from AusAID, the Australian Government's overseas aid program Australia, Beca Hub works with Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) to build the capacity of African agricultural science community. Beca-CSIRO partnership offers fifteen scholarships through the African Biosciences Challenge Fund in 2011.

Eligibility Details:

We are seeking applicants from 17 countries Beca (listed below) who has been developing ideas for short-term projects (2-4 months) related to food security and nutrition or health of animals, using sophisticated molecular biology and bioinformatics capacity Available at Beca Hub. While in the Hub, Fellows will have access to our facilities and receive support from the scientists and engineers our capacity.
