Agnes Cooke Scholarship Contests for Journalist


The Agnes Cooke Scholarship Contests competition is open to any Virginia college student or to any Virginia resident attending an out-of-state college. Scholarship applicants must be planning a career in journalism, photo journalism, public relations or another related communications field. Scholarship Contests Applicants do not have to be enrolled in a journalism degree program to qualify, but strong evidence of a commitment to the field of communications is essential.
The Scholarship Contests competition is open to male and female students and to undergraduate and graduate students. Members of Virginia Press Women receive additional consideration.
Applications for the 2011 awards are due July 15, 2011. The scholarship money will be available for the fall 2011 semester.

The Agnes Cooke Scholarship Contests is named in honor of the late Agnes Cooke of Kinsale, who was a charter member of Virginia Press Women and served as president from 1964 to 1966. She was well-known in the Northern Neck for the columns she wrote for 25 years chronicling the everyday events in her community.

Fulbright Scholarship Contests Program in Teaching/Research


Scholarship Contests Applications will be in American literature, economics, finance, information technology, environmental science, agriculture, journalism, mathematics, political science, social sciences and any other discipline at the reception offered during institution.Teach welcome taught degree in a discipline in the host institution, including the arts, humanities, social sciences and natural sciences. Support for the training of teachers, curriculum development and student counseling.

Scholarship Contests Find a nearby specialization.Scholars Ph.D. and postdoctoral academic training or experience in teaching college and the experience gained in developing countries, are preferred. The school calendar in Chad consists of three terms: October to December and January-March April-June, are changed at any time. An invitation letter from the receiving device is not necessary to apply.
